Eva Tkáčiková was born on 7th November, 1974 in Žilina (Slovakia). She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava from 1993 – 2000, graduating with a specialization in colour graphics from the studio of Assoc. Prof. Vojtech Kolenčík.
She enjoys creating in the area of graphics and graphic experimentation, photography, object and installation. She is devoted to free fine-arts work and pedagogic activities. Since 2010 she has been teaching at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Košice. She is interested in art therapy and its advancement through animation and workshops.
She has participated in many arts projects, symposia, individual and collective exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad (Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, France, Lithuania). She presented her work at an international project Nuit Blanche – White Night in yrs. 2012, 2013, 2014. She lives and works in Košice.
